The world that you love to behold cannot hold you anymore

Beach House | “Teen Dream”

O título diz tudo, é mesmo a banda sonora perfeita de um teen dream. Trata-se da minha descoberta dos Beach House que adorei ver no Primavera Sound 2010. O tema de abertura “Zebra” lembra-me uns Band of Horses, “Norway” uns Fleetwood Mac, “Silver soul” uns The Walkmen. Os temas que mais me agradam são “Walk in the park”, que aqui e ali me leva às sonoridades de uns Cocteau Twins e “Used to be” que é de uma ingenuidade quase infantil, talvez por isso absolutamente delicioso e viciante, levando-me ao universo de uns Fleet Foxes. E só me resta dizer que este álbum é absolutamente onírico, ou não fosse um teen dream.
