It seems ez

A compilação de Josh Rouse andou a rodar seguramente mais de 1 mês no meu carro, foi parte da banda sonora das deslocações de Dezembro e Janeiro. Gostando eu e muito de todos os temas dos 2 CD’s, há um que me chama a atenção em particular, da mesma natureza de “EZ” de Pete Yorn. Daqueles temas que são agradáveis logo na 1ª escuta, que até parecem easy listening, mas que nos revelam sempre algo de novo de cada vez que os ouvimos. Gosto de canções que tal como esta se vão desenvolvendo progressivamente, em que novos instrumentos vão sendo introduzidos conferindo forma, consistência e complexidade, reforçando a cadência. Gosto deste tipo de letra em que há um refrão que é diferente à medida que a história se desenrola. Gosto da interpretação de Rouse num registo que roça a lamúria, bem colado às vivências da história que canta.
